Where is Your Light

Jeshua said (Matthew 5:14-16) "You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden. People do not light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before people in such a way that they will see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

This was part of his Sermon on the Mount, a sermon which was delivered to ALL people, not just the Apostles.  We are encouraged to see our relationship with light as necessary and available to everyone, not just for those with time for advanced studies and leisure.  That was the vanity of Lucifer, who saw enlightenment as only a tool for advantage and not the sustaining force of our being.

• We will learn how to accept and honor our light as a sacred presence in the world.
• We will learn how to be more open to the revelations of our light.
• We will explore what each of us brings to the world through our personal light.
• We will clear the times in our past when our light was so threatened by circumstance or personal insecurity that we covered it up to protect it. In uncovering these past patterns and accepting greater responsibility, we will not likely repeat them. 
• Then, we will learn how to hold our light strong even in the windy gales of a storm.
• We will learn how to expand our light by sharing it.
